In the earlier articles, we introduced the distribution pattern of domestic glass bottle manufacturers. A large number of glass bottle manufacturers are mainly concentrated in the three provinces of Su, Yu and Lu. This uneven distribution has brought a big problem to the glass bottle buyers. Because glass bottles are hollow products and the glass bottles are heavy, transportation costs for glass bottles are extremely high. However, the uneven distribution of manufacturers makes buyers unable to choose. As a result, many buyers have retreated to other packaging materials. The reason for this problem is that the quartz, soda ash and other raw materials required for glass bottle production are mostly concentrated in the above provinces, plus the developed railway freight system in the North.
Now, glass bottle manufacturers want to break through this pattern and strive for more orders. Layout of glass bottles in more provinces in China is an important direction. This requires solving the problem of raw materials for glass bottles. We think we can improve from two aspects. A speed up the establishment of recycling levels of glass bottles, making glass recycling technology can be upgraded to a higher level. In this way, raw materials can be obtained nearby, which is a relatively good direction for solving long-distance transportation of raw materials. The other is to place the glass bottle plant as close as possible to the port railway and other dense areas, reducing the transportation costs of raw materials.
