DSM Introduces Two New UV Curable Waterborne Resins

ReoRadR-447 and ReoRadR-448, two new UV-curable waterborne resin products from the resin division, will be on display at the American Coatings Show in Charlotte, USA from June 3rd to 5th. These two resins can be widely used as the resin binder for industrial wood coatings.

The current market demand for water-based UV-curable coating products has been increasing. In particular, UV resins with superior friction and chemical resistance have been favored by wood coating manufacturers. It was also in this market situation that ReoRadR-447 and ReoRadR-448 came into being. ReoRadR-447 and ReoRadR-448 resins have superior chemical resistance and stain resistance, and can impart excellent rub resistance to the coating system.
