Donnelly develops the industry's first high-resolution four-color inkjet web printer

While everyone was looking forward to drupa's inkjet technology, the American printing giant Donnelley announced that he had developed the industry's first four-color web inkjet printer with a resolution of 1200 dpi. Although this device did not appear on drupa, it is said that the press, called ISP (Integrated Printing System) 3, can increase the resolution from 600 dpi to twice as much.

This new press is ideal for use in financial services because it has a print width of 76 cm and a four-color output speed of 2.03 m/s (maximum speed of 4.06 m/s for two-color printing).

Although it is not unusual for a printing factory to develop printing presses, they have been working silently for more than 30 years.
