Rohm & Haas (Rohm & Haas) has developed a new type of impact modifier Paraloid® BMP-500 that can be used in bio-packaging and other applications. The new Paraloid® BMP-500 has higher impact strength and tear strength compared to conventional PLA anti-cracking agents. Due to its better dispersibility, it does not scatter any light and can provide PLA with good transparency.
