3 Robot Application Research

The main purpose of research on robotic application technology is to replace manual work in harsh environments and special working conditions. Industrial robots are the first industrial robotics technology. The focus here is on the analysis of robotics technology in the packaging field.

3.1 Industrial Robots

Industrial robots are robots that replace manual operations in order to adapt to the large-scale production of the manufacturing industry, to solve monotonous and repetitive manual labor and to improve the quality of production. Specific industrial robots include: welding, assembly, painting, casting, packaging, laser processing, inspection, vacuum and other robots.

3.2 Service Robot

Service robots are robots that operate autonomously or semi-autonomously to provide services for the rehabilitation of human life, or robots that can maintain equipment and facilities. Robots such as those in the areas of cleansing, entertainment, and duty duties are examples of this. There are robots for firefighting, medical care, disability assistants, weeding, house fittings, pressure roads, tunnel rock drilling, fruit picking, road cleaning, and nuclear processing.

3.3 Underwater robot

Underwater robots can move in deep water, have vision and perception systems, and use robots or other tools to replace or assist manual underwater operations by remote control and automatic operation.

Underwater robots are divided into cable-controlled remote-controlled underwater robots and cableless autonomous underwater robots. As a high-tech means, underwater robots play an important role in the development and utilization of oceans, which means that their importance is similar to that of space flight technology.

3.4 Space Robot

Space robots are robots that perform various tasks in and out of the atmosphere. Space robots mainly include flying, planetary exploration and spacecraft application robots.

5.5 Progress of Application Research of Robotics in China

At present, China's robotics technology is equivalent to the level of foreign developed countries in the early 1980s. Especially in terms of manufacturing processes and equipment, high-precision, high-speed and high-efficiency key components cannot be produced. During the "10th Five-Year Plan" period, China included robotics technology in the National 863 Plan. With the principle of "developing high technology and realizing industrialization", we have carried out the research and development of industrial robots and applied engineering. In a few short years, great progress has been made. Industrial robots such as spot welding, arc welding, painting, assembly, handling, and automatic guided vehicles have been developed. Mainly used in automobiles, motorcycles, construction machinery, home appliances and other industries.

(1) China's current robotics technologies that have made great progress include: key technologies and equipment for numerically-controlled machine tools, related technologies for tunnelling robots, intelligent robot-related technologies for construction machinery, and related technologies for assembly automation robots.

There are breakthroughs in some key technologies, but there is still a lack of breakthroughs in the overall core technology.

In the future, the development of robotics technology will aim at: Dangerous, harsh environments Operating robots: There are mainly robots for riot protection, high-voltage live cleaning, planetary detection, and oil and gas pipelines. Medical robots: There are mainly brain surgery-assisted robots, and remotely operated auxiliary bones. Bionic Robots: There are mainly mobile robots, remotely operated robots, etc.
