When our factory uses the 115MCS-2 paper cutter imported from Germany, the cutter sometimes comes down sometimes. After the paper presser comes down and compacts, press the two-handed cutting button, and then only after a period of time. After repeatedly pressing the cutting button, the knife will not be lowered at all, and the bar cannot be turned manually.
First of all, we start with the drawings and look for the cause of the failure. Find the part of the circuit that controls the knife, and basically locate the fault due to the improper contact of the relevant components of the electrical part. Look at the master knife clutch on the drawing, press the two-handed cutting button, the contactors K50 and K51 are closed, and the normally open contacts K50 and K51 are closed. Look again at the solenoid valve Y1, which is located in the large drive wheel on the left side of the machine. Through careful observation, it was found that the carbon brush ignited during cranking, and the spring in the solenoid valve Y1 could not spring back, resulting in improper contact between the carbon brush and the wheel circumference. As a result, the motor circuit cannot be connected, and the motor cannot rotate, so it cannot be cut.
Since this paper cutter has been used for many years, the long-term operation makes the spring recovery performance worse. Fortunately, there are 3 adjustable positions when the manufacturer designs this spring, and the fault can be eliminated smoothly by adjusting the position of the spring.
Through this failure, combined with the similar failures that I usually encounter, I have come to the conclusion that when encountering such problems, we should first consider whether the electrical parts are not in good contact. There are several cases of unrealistic contact, such as unrealistic contact contact, inaccurate terminal contact, and inaccurate solenoid valve pull-in. However, specific problems need to be analyzed in detail.
