1. Implementation background

Due to the large number of ATM manufacturers and models, the shapes are different, it is difficult for ordinary cardholders to distinguish the appearance of the normal card slot and the abnormal card slot, and often fall into the trap set by criminals, resulting in a large number of cases constantly occurring. Adding a card stolen device (card stolen device) to the card slot has become the most common form of crime that occurs on ATMs. Although video surveillance systems are currently installed on most ATMs, these simple video surveillance systems are generally only used for evidence collection after crimes are committed, and have little effect on detecting and preventing crimes in a timely manner. Faced with the complex card environment for ATMs, the inability of the video surveillance system to provide early warning and prevention capabilities in a timely and effective manner is also an important factor for frequent crimes on ATMs. The most basic function of the security system is to detect and stop crimes in time, but facts have repeatedly proved that a single video surveillance can no longer effectively block the crazy bank card piracy crimes on the ATM machine.

Second, the program selection

The anti-theft card technology on self-service equipment such as ATM machines can generally detect whether there are foreign objects (such as code stolen devices) around the card reader of the self-service equipment in various ways.

1. Light judgment: Use the reflection principle of infrared light to punch a light hole around the card reader on the ATM machine, and emit infrared light from the self-service equipment through the light hole. If there is obstruction, it is determined that there is a card theft.
The disadvantage of this method is that it is necessary to punch holes in the ATM machine and destroy the original structure of the ATM machine. As long as there are foreign objects (dust, etc.) blocking the light hole or changes in ambient light and other factors, false alarms will occur and the false alarm rate will be high. When the card reader is installed, bypassing the through hole will cause a false alarm.

2. Electromagnetic field judgment: use the magnetic field strength sensor or electromagnetic field strength sensing equipment to detect the change of electricity and magnetic field around the ATM machine card reader and compare it with the normal situation. If there is electricity or magnetic field abnormality, it is determined that there is a card theft.

This method belongs to the short-range detection technology, and it is also necessary to drill holes in the ATM machine to change the original structure of the ATM machine. If the ATM machine is a metal shell, the detection equipment must be external, which itself becomes a safety hazard; There will be false alarms when there are objects around that can change the magnetic field strength. If the detection sensitivity is lowered, it will be missed, and the sensitivity adjustment scale is difficult to grasp.

3. Use the image processing technology to analyze the image of the ATM machine card reader to find out the characteristics, compare it with the original card reader image, and if there is any abnormality, it is determined that there is a code theft.

This method is sensitive to the brightness of the image and requires high image clarity, which results in a high false alarm rate; but its biggest disadvantage is that it has no anti-counterfeiting function. If the installed card thief appearance and color and the original card reader Similar images cannot be distinguished and serious underreporting will occur.

3. Analysis of the characteristics and advantages of Yuantuo anti-theft code system

For any bank card theft crime committed on the ATM, there is a common feature: the installation of additional equipment (code theft, fake keyboard, etc.). Any addition means that the space height of some important parts (card slot, keyboard, etc.) on the ATM has changed. Real-time monitoring of the space height of these sensitive parts through high-precision measurement sensors can determine whether the normal card slot is added. Retrofitting behaviors such as code theft are installed, so that alarms and warnings can be issued during the installation process, and time is given for timely prevention and arrest of crimes.

Implementation principle:

First, multi-point ranging is performed on the card reader of ATM machine and other self-service equipment and its surroundings through a high-precision laser ranging system, and the measurement result is saved as a reference value. During normal operation, the card reader of the self-service equipment such as ATM machine is measured according to a certain period or preset conditions, and compared with the stored measured value according to the received measured distance value, when the measured distance value does not exceed the alarm distance When the parameter value is maintained, the current state is maintained; when the measured distance value exceeds the alarm distance parameter value, indicating that the physical state or form around the reader has changed, an alarm signal is sent to the control module, and the continuous alarm time is counted. If the continuous alarm time statistics exceed the threshold value of the pre-warning time parameter, the control module sends out pre-warning instructions and pre-warning warning signals through the Internet of Things module, and at the same time avoids false alarms caused by normal actions such as card insertion;

This system uses a phase-type laser ranging module to achieve high-precision laser multi-point ranging. A laser protective net can be formed around the card reader. Because the device is hoisted at a certain distance in front of the self-service device, it is not only convenient to set up, good concealment, and no need to damage Self-service equipment, flexible installation location, can be installed within a distance of 0.05 meters to 20 meters from the ATM machine card reader; in addition, the laser light path of the device not only has a large detection range, but also is not easily affected by the environment and electromagnetic interference, effectively solving the traditional The problem of equipment false alarms and omissions.

The Internet of Things module is specially set in the system, which can monitor the card slot status of the ATMs of each network point in real time through the central network, and can report to the center in time for any abnormal conditions of the card slot. At the same time, it can be connected with Yuantuo's SMS alarm module to send SMS alarm to relevant personnel or the SMS platform of the public security department.
