New Cure FullCure for Performance Simulation of Polypropylene Plastics

Israel REHOVOT News, the global leader in the field of 3-D printing, Objet Geometries, announced the launch of the DurusTM product as a complement to FullCure® production lines for photopolymers and analog plastics. DurusWhite, FullCure430 expands the model material of the FullCure assembly line and is intended for applications that require a wide range of properties such as polypropylene toughness, strength, and elasticity, such as foods, laboratory equipment, loudspeakers, and automotive parts.

DurusWhite gives the product a milky white appearance and feel like polypropylene. It also simulates the properties of polypropylene, such as toughness (Izod notched impact strength 44.22 J/m), elasticity (elongation at break 44.2%) and strength (modulus of elasticity 1135 MPa).

DurusWhite mimics the fatigue resistance of polypropylene and promotes rapid jointing, which is particularly critical for products that use a hinge mechanism. This is also a key success factor for materials in the rapid prototyping process. Their ability to simulate the final product in rapid prototyping is their most important performance.

Objet's 3-D printing system working with DurusWhite: Connex500, Eden500V, Eden350V, Eden350 and Eden330/333. It is environmentally friendly and sealed in a 3.6 kg drum.
