Keywords: design: logo design; design concept; people-oriented

Among the visual elements of companies, institutions, and organizations, the logo is the most widely used and has the highest frequency of appearance. It is the core of integrating all visual design elements. The ultimate goal of the logo design should be that the logo can “please” the person, the subject “person” can identify the logo, agree with the connotation of the logo, and the logo has its meaning. This paper starts with the logo design practice of Nanchang University Library and discusses the design concept of human-oriented logo design.

1 Understanding signs

Broadly speaking, any symbol that represents a company, group, institution, company, manufacturer, conference, event, commodity, etc. can be called a logo. Among the corporate visual elements, logos are the most widely used and have the highest frequency of appearance. They are the core of integrating all visual design elements.

The corporate logo is a visual symbol that is simple in shape, clear in meaning, and uniform in standards. It conveys information about the company's business philosophy, business content, company scale, and product characteristics to the public, enabling audience groups to identify corporate images and recognize corporate culture. The so-called “love in mind, meaning outside the word, subtle, and wonderful, this is also a sign of a high degree of temperament and rich connotation. Design master reluctantly designed the Bank of China logo (see Figure 1a), in ancient “rounded In the form of a copper coin, the word "zhong" was inserted into the door, which resembles two locked doors, symbolizing safety and trustworthiness. The logo is concise, strong in identification, profound in content, and full of strong personality.

At the same time, the corporate logo is the dominant force that mobilizes all visual elements of the company. It constitutes the basic characteristics of the corporate image, reflects the internal quality of the company, and is the first visual element of the public's recognition of the corporate brand. In today's China, the trend of cx (corporate identification) is so great that a large number of institutions and groups are rushing. To personalize the corporate image in the market, establish a corporate entity brand, as one of the cI design center of the logo design, it is even more important. China Telecom’s newly-launched logo (see Figure 1b) has a simple, smooth and dynamic overall shape. The arms, like the open arms of the logo, and the energetic bulls and peace doves flying in the wings, have a strong sense of the times and visual impact. This shows that China Telecom has the good intentions of advancing with the times, making progress, flourishing development, and striving to create a better life. Pepsi CI Planning Designer T. Daniele. Weisong said: "Corporate identity is the first person in a company's non-language language. Sometimes it is faster, more powerful, more accurate than language-based means of transmission, and it has the characteristics of global recognition.

2 "people-oriented" design practice

The Nanchang University Library logo (see Figure 2) closely follows the "people-oriented" design principle. All walks of life have positively evaluated the logo design and achieved a good social efficiency. This has laid a solid foundation for the introduction of library cI. .

2.1 "People-oriented" subject

1) The library takes Nanchang University's second entrepreneurial opportunity as an opportunity to introduce cI to achieve the goal of establishing a new image of the library, establishing a good pavilion, raising employees' sense of ownership, and strengthening employees' service awareness. During the logo design process, the survey was conducted among all librarians and teachers and students throughout the university to establish the main line of the library library training l (dedication and self-reliance). The logo design has been recognized by all librarians and school teachers and students on the concept of the library: The function of the library lies in the service, not the negative service. The readers are attracted to the library through high quality and efficient services. Service is positive, open, and innovative. Excellent service and new mental outlook are the performance of self-improvement.

2) The key to the success of the logo is in its execution. The implementation of the logo is mainly reflected in its identification, identification and dissemination of three aspects. Whether it is identification, identification or dissemination, there is only one main body of “incidents” that is “people”. Regarding the audience of the logo, “for people, it is composed of two main bodies: the enterprise body and the market body. The enterprise body is the enterprise employee, and the market body is the consumer group. The enterprise logo can only please these two parts at the same time and get this The recognition of two people can be considered a sign of success.

(1) Business entity. The successful corporate logo is the conciseness of the visual symbols of corporate culture, and it carries the corporate philosophy and corporate mission. The core of corporate culture is the human-centered management idea. The purpose is to advocate and nurture the spirit of the enterprise, mobilize the enthusiasm of the employees, strengthen the employees' sense of ownership, and strengthen the overall quality of the enterprise. Therefore, the design of the logo should be recognized by the employees of the company, recognize the corporate culture, corporate mission, and corporate philosophy in order to enhance the company's centripetal force and cohesion. After all, employees are the company's core competitiveness.

(2) Market players. The sign of success is the carrier of the company's business philosophy. The company's business philosophy is the social value of the company's existence, the company's pursuit of goals and business management ideas. Once consumers can identify with the company's business philosophy, then the company will be able to be invincible in the market, establish a strong brand. Gome, which creates a miracle in the home appliance sales industry, is an example. Its business philosophy of “benefiting consumers and making profit to the manufacturer” has been recognized by consumers, making it a very short time in just 16 years. Unnamed small shops have developed to national super aircraft carriers with annual sales of nearly 30 billion yuan, so the design of the logo should be able to arouse the resonance of consumers, recognize the business philosophy of the company, and then enhance the competitiveness of products and enhance the corporate brand image.
