Therefore, in order to meet the composite requirements of our materials, we need to test the composite film layer to verify the materials that satisfy us.
The higher the composite strength of the flexible packaging composite material, the better. The high adhesion value can prevent the composite layer from detaching, but the production cost will increase accordingly. Not only to meet the requirements of compounding, but also to save costs, this requires the quality of the composite layer of the composite film to be tested and analyzed in order to find the appropriate composite conditions.
1. Sample preparation
Sample size film composite material as the width (15.0 + 0.1) mm, length 200mm.

Remove both ends of the sample in the width direction by 50 mm , and uniformly take 5 vertical and horizontal samples along the width of the sample . The composite direction is longitudinal.
Strip the composite layer and substrate in advance by 50mm along the length of the sample , and the peeled part must not have obvious damage. If the sample is not easy to peel, you can immerse 20mm of the sample in an appropriate solvent. After the solvent is completely volatilized, the peel force test is performed. If the composite layer undergoes such treatment and the person cannot be separated from the substrate, the test cannot be carried out and the test report is directly obtained.
3. Condition adjustment and test environment
The sample should be placed in an environment with a temperature ( 23 + 1 ) ° C and a relative humidity of 45% to 55% for more than 4 hours , and then be tested in the above environment.
4. Test speed selection
( 300 + 50 ) mm / min ;
5. Test procedure
Clamp the two ends of the peeled part of the test on the upper and lower clamps of the testing machine respectively, so that the longitudinal direction of the peeled part of the sample coincides with the center line of the upper and lower clamps, and the tightness is suitable. During the test, the unpeeled part is in line T with the tensile direction , and the testing machine is started, which displays the force value and the peeling curve during the peeling process in real time. After the test, the arithmetic mean value is automatically calculated according to the shape of the curve obtained in the test, with Newton ( N ) as the unit.
When inspecting a three-layer or above three-layer composite structure, which layer should be started first and in what order? The standard has no clear regulations on this, so after such tests, the results should not only indicate the peel strength, but also indicate the phenomena that occurred during the test. A huge amount of tests have shown that the peel strengths of the layers of the multi-layer composite film are not the same. There are no relevant regulations in the country, and enterprises can formulate enterprise standard test methods according to their actual conditions. The general principle is that the same sample should not be stripped at the same time for testing. The peeling of the multilayer composite film is subject to the middle layer.
