Puma (PUMA) has been involved in the field of mobile phones, but this did not last long.
Recently, Puma announced to join the smart watch market and signed a 10-year agreement with Fossil, Fossil will manufacture and distribute Puma brand wearable devices. The first batch of watches will be launched at the end of 2019.
"Puma is one of the world's leading sports brands. We are happy to work with them and bring our world-class design and distribution capabilities to the Puma watch series," Kosta Kartsotis, CEO of Fossil Group Said.
Interestingly, Fossil also produces (non-smart) Adidas watches. According to Fossil, this will definitely bring some competition. Although it did manufacture Android-supported watches before, it is still unclear whether Puma watches will run Android Wear.
