Cause of formation
In the process of kneading paper and single-faced corrugated paperboard, if the adhesive is not well coated, the amount of adhesive that is squeezed to the sides of the peak will be excessive. When the bonding is dry, the paper is in the enamel. The sides of the peak will be tightened to form a seesaw phenomenon.
Therefore, when starting the veneer, you should check the application amount of the adhesive at any time. If a small line appears on the paper, the glue is in the best condition; if there is a thick double line, the glue is applied. If the amount is too large, it is prone to the phenomenon of "seesaw". Quantitatively low facial tissue is even more serious.
Solution
If there is a “seesaw†phenomenon, the following five methods can be used for control:
1. The easiest and most reliable method is to replace the high-density facial tissue, which can obviously eliminate the seesaw phenomenon. But this will increase the cost and make the price of the carton significantly higher. If the user can accept it and use it, if it is unacceptable, consider using other methods.
2, improve the viscosity of corn starch adhesive, from 100ML60S to 70-90S, in order to reduce the amount of glue on the back of the peak, can significantly reduce the phenomenon of seesaw, the cost changes little.
3. When using a low-quantity and dry facial tissue, if the amount of glue is too much, it is prone to the phenomenon of seesaw. After using a wetting method (hanging, turning, humidifying, etc.) to make the paper adsorb a certain amount of water, reuse.
4. Adjust and control the parallelism and clearance between the rubber roller and the pressure roller. The gap should be moderate, generally just after the corrugated cardboard has passed. The pressure between the pressure rollers is strictly controlled to reduce the occurrence of the seesaw phenomenon.
5. The most basic and effective method is to make full use of the horizontal and vertical texture characteristics of the paper. The longitudinal thread of the paper and the direction of the corrugated cardboard are “tenâ€, which can eliminate the seesaw phenomenon. However, paper is sometimes wasted because the width of the roll paper does not conform to the size of the paper cassette, which increases the cost.
