2, test samples

This article uses a food grade rubber gasket produced by a company as a test sample.

3. Testing basis

This test process is based on GB/T 5009.64-2003 "Analytical Method for Hygienic Standards for Rubber Gaskets (Rings) for Foods". According to the test process of evaporation residue in this standard, the non-volatiles that can migrate out of the test samples are small. Molecular content (total migration).

4, test equipment

4.1 Principle of the test

According to the actual application of the rubber gasket and the type of food contacted, select the appropriate simulant and test conditions, and then simulate the migration test of the rubber gasket according to the test conditions with the simulant. After the migration test, take a certain amount of simulated liquid. Dry in a high temperature oven to a weighted evaporating dish, evaporate on a water bath, dry in a high temperature oven, weigh, dry, weigh, until the weight, the weight minus the empty evaporating dish and blank simulation The amount of residue (total migration) in the rubber gasket can be obtained by the weight of the residue.

4.2 Scope of application

4.3 Equipment parameters

5, the test process

(1) Take about 20g of rubber gasket sample into the conical flask, add the simulant to the conical flask according to the requirement of adding 20ml of simulant per gram, soak the specimen, and hold the sample and the simulant. The Erlenmeyer flask was placed under the selected test conditions for the migration test.

(2) The evaporating dish is placed in the corresponding tray rack of the evaporation residue constant weight meter according to the number to carry out constant weight, and the instrument automatically records the weight of each evaporating dish.

(3) After the end of the migration test, take 200 mL of each simulant from the Erlenmeyer flask and place it in two evaporating dishes with constant weight, and take another 200 mL blank simulant into another constant weight evaporation. In the dish, do a blank test.

(4) Place the three evaporating dishes in a water bath to dry, then transfer them to the tray holder corresponding to the evaporation residue constant weight meter, close the test chamber door, set the reference cup, test cup number, and dry temperature setting. For 100 ° C, the weighing interval is 1 h, and the difference test mode is selected. The difference is 0.3 mg, that is, when the weight difference between the two sides of the current weighing is less than 0.3 mg, it is considered that the constant weight is reached. (5) The equipment automatically performs the constant weight process according to the set conditions. When the constant weight condition is reached, the equipment automatically stops the test and automatically calculates and displays the amount of evaporation residue in the two test cups according to the weight of each evaporating dish. .

6, test results

According to the use of the rubber gasket tested, the selected simulant was water, and the migration test conditions were immersed for 0.5 h under the condition of 60 ° C, and the evaporation residue (total migration) of the final test sample was 11.3 mg / L.
