COLLIN's seven-layer co-extruded blown film production line has a wide range of extruders with screw diameters of 16, 20, 25, 30 and 45 mm. The seven-layer blow mold with a radial melt dispenser allows the barrier film to maintain the highest quality, with very small tolerances for each layer.
The seven- and nine-layer extruders are equipped with a slit-type, suspended, melt distributor at the extrusion outlet followed by a calender roll or chill roll. High-pressure calenders capable of producing 1.5 mm uniaxially stretched films can be tested on site-provided MDO devices.
