1. Remove the upper lens of the eyepiece, mount the micrometer of the eyepiece micrometer down on the mirror surface of the eyepiece, and then screw on the upper lens of the eyepiece.
2. Place the micrometer of the stage with the scale side up on the stage and clamp it so that the scale of the micrometer is in the center of the field of view. Adjust the focus to see the scale of the micrometer on the stage.
