Pirate Biscuit Recipe

I recently tried my hand at making some pirate biscuits that were supposed to resemble digestives. While they turned out okay, they ended up being a bit too tempting for me. Once I started eating them, it was hard to stop—just like digestives, they’re incredibly addictive. As a result, I’ve decided to take a break from making these for a while because they’re just a little too good. For this batch, we used a gingerbread cutter, but since my kids aren’t big fans of gingerbread, I wanted to experiment with something new. Here’s how our attempt at pirate biscuits went.

Once the biscuits have cooled, it’s time to get creative with the decorations. I used the same biscuit cutter to cut out shapes from the fondant icing and then piped details using black icing. To add some extra flair, I used a gold ball for the belt buckle and star-shaped candies to decorate the hats.
