High-speed bioreactor technology was developed on the basis of sludge treatment using soil. The use of microorganisms in the soil to treat sludge, because the system is open, will be affected by temperature and soil moisture, so that the time and area of ​​soil utilization are limited.
This technology combines the dewatering, digestion and drying of sludge, placing the entire process of soil treatment in a closed circulatory system. After nearly 20 years of research and development, Texaco has matured and promoted high-speed bioreactor technology. The core part of the entire operating system is the bioreactor, which consists of two zones: the upper part is the area where the sludge mixes with the soil, which makes the sludge load uniform, and the organic part of the sludge is Biodegradation; the lower part is the gas and liquid separation zone, so that the liquid does not stay in the soil to increase the oxygen transfer rate. The sludge with high load rate is treated by the system, the organic components in the sludge will degrade 70%~80%, and the removal rate of suspended solids will reach 45%~60%. The concentration from the sedimentation tank is 5000~30000mg/L. The sludge can be directly entered into the system without any pre-treatment. Compared to other biological treatment technologies, the system requires less energy, can operate continuously, and maintains optimal temperature for microbial degradation, especially for sludge treatment processes that are limited by natural conditions or have high soil moisture.
