With the continuous development of the printing, packaging and trademarks industries, die-cutting technology is also continuously improving and adapting. The scope of die-cutting products covers cartons, carton packaging, trademark labels, plastic packaging, and electronics, light industry, and decoration. In many industries, how to ensure the quality of the die-cut version is a prerequisite for ensuring die-cutting quality.
Prior to the 1980s, our country's flat die-cutting and die-cutting plates had been stuck in the production of die-cutting plates by the lead-row cutter method. Not only did workers have high labor intensity, but their accuracy was not guaranteed. 80 years later, China introduced the international advanced plywood arrangement die-cutting process. Through the country's reform and opening up and the rapid development of national economy and technology in the past 20 years, the ancient lead-plate-making process has basically been completely eliminated in China. However, the popularization of correct and reasonable processes for making flat pressed die cut plywood is still imperfect, and new processes, new technologies, new materials, and new equipment continue to emerge. The following is the same for China's current flat die cutting process. Craftsmanship, equipment, raw materials, and common issues in production are discussed and discussed with colleagues.
Die-cut production is divided into two parts: knife-making and template making. The knife-making template is composed of template, die-cutting knife, indentation line and die-cutting tape. The bottom-plate is composed of the bottom-plate steel and indentation bottom mold.
The production process of die-cut version follows the following steps:

In the carton printing plate process, if a manual film is used for imposition, the die cutting process needs to draw a cutout according to the actual size of the sample layout. In the process of drawing die-cutting drawings, the location of the die-cutting cutters and the position of the indentation marks shall be clearly marked according to the national carton drawing standards. In order to ensure that the die-cutting plate is not dispelled during the plate-making process, the graphic part shall be closed in a large area. Leave more than two places and do not saw them. This location is usually called a bridge. The width of the bridge can be designed to be 3-6 mm for small plates and 8-9 mm for large plates.

Cutting stencils vary depending on the cutting method. They include sawing stencils and laser cutting stencils.
Saw cutting is currently the main processing method for stencil seams. The work of the sawing machine is to use the up and down reciprocating motion of the saw blade to process the narrow slits for the die cutters and indentation lines on the stencil with a special ultra-narrow saw blade. The thickness of the saw blade is equal to the thickness of the die cutter or indentation line in the corresponding position. The saw blade with a thickness of 0.7-2.0 mm and a width of 1.5-3.0 mm is commonly used. The saw bed is equipped with an electric drill and can be drilled on the template and drilled. You can cut through the saw blade through the hole. Today's sawing machine series products have different specifications and functions, depending on the occasion and plate type. The sawing machine is equipped with a dust collection system to automatically collect sawn sawdust. The saw blade can be electrically clamped. The large table sawing machine is equipped with an air floatation system on the working platform to make the large plate sawing light and flexible.
The laser-cutting die-cut version is carried out on a computer-controlled laser cutting machine. It is a method in which the laser is used as an energy source to cut the material of the template by the high temperature generated by the laser. The laser cutting first needs to input the full-page die cut diagram into the computer, and the computer controls the die cut plate to cut relative to the movement of the laser head. Laser cutting Because of the use of computer control, the cutting accuracy of die cutting is very high. However, there are many factors affecting the cutting quality in the cutting process, such as material quality parameters, sheet thickness, laser output power, type and pressure of the auxiliary gas, diameter, diameter of the nozzle, distance between the material and the nozzle; focal length of the lens, focus The location, as well as the cutting speed. Therefore, in actual production, it is extremely important to draw lessons from past experience to determine the processing effect.
