According to Dong Jinshi, executive vice president of the International Food Packaging Association, inks contain ingredients such as rubber, pigments, and solvents. These are inedible substances that may enter the population with beverages. Over time, the harm to health should not be underestimated. However, at present, there are no divisions between the food grade and the non-food grade in ink production in our national laws and standards. Therefore, the harm that can be produced is avoided only by means of direct contact with food.

At present, the current national standards for cans are "Packing Container Aluminum Easy-Open Aluminum Two-Pieces Can" (GB/T 9106.1-2009) and "Aluminum Easy-Open Aluminum Tri-Plate" (GB/T 17590-2008). Among them, there is a clear division of the way of opening the lid, and there is a design in which the lid is opened and the lid is opened. The International Packaging Association recommended canceling the process of retaining the tab-type pull tabs and abolishing the production of the canned tab-type cans, replacing them with pull tabs. Add this content to existing standards to eliminate security risks from the source. Because food safety issues should be the primary consideration for packaging design, the early removal of defective packaging designs can provide more guarantees for food safety.

The reason why the use of retaining tabs inside the pull-ring, rather than the pull-pull ring, Dong Jinshi introduced, so as to avoid the pull-out after the pull away caused environmental pollution, waste of resources. However, he believes that the issue of environmental protection can be solved by means of changing the design structure or sorting wastes. At the same time, he conducted an experiment on the spot and simultaneously dumped two cans of cans with pull tabs and pull tabs inside to pour out the beverage. The result showed that the speed of falling inside the tabs was faster, he thought It is easy for consumers to generate more purchasing power.
