Container transportation tracking system is available in April

This set of technology is mainly to improve the safety performance of container transportation and facilitate information tracking, and to strengthen the monitoring of cargo entering and leaving the port during transportation.

MTC is responsible for the daily work of a total of 26 terminals at 13 ports on the West Coast and holds 25% of container traffic. TraPac Container Services is a subsidiary of Mitsui, a merchant company in the United States. It handles about 1 million containers a year. Technically, Savi Network's RFID readers and other infrastructure are installed at each MTC terminal in the United States.

If there is a dangerous change in the transport environment, the sensors in these tags will send an alert to the Savi Trak system so that they can react quickly before the disaster and avoid or reduce the hazards.

The RFID reader installed at the port is mainly distributed on the crane's boom so that the data on the loaded or unloaded container tag can be read. Card readers and nearby detection points can also monitor the container's activity.

When a label is attached to a container, the SaviTrak database will record the unique ID of the label; if passive UHF RFID labels are used in the container, the system can implement the label ID as long as the labels meet national standards. The connection, this feature allows customers to easily use the SaviTrak system.
