First, three-phase intermediate frequency inverter automatic high-speed steel barrel seam welding machine technical principle

The device belongs to the range of resistance welding, that is, after the workpiece is combined, pressure is applied through the electrode, and current flows through the contact surface of the joint and the adjacent region to generate resistance heat, thereby forming a series of mutually overlapping nuggets to obtain a gas-tight weld. Welding method: Rolling seam welding method, the electrode is cylindrical roller, the electric control adopts high anti-interference PLC programmable controller and modular circuit control; the welding power source adopts 1000Hz intermediate frequency transformer through inverter rectification into DC welding power source. This equipment is the result of the digestion and absorption of the NEWCOR automatic steel barrel seam welding machine in the United States. It combines the actual use and adds some functions. 2, the welding current has no zero-crossing effect

The welding current provided by the AC resistance welding machine has a second zero crossing every cycle (20ms). During this period, the welding zone not only does not receive current heating but the heat dissipation process does not stop, and the heat loss is serious.

The output of the inverter resistance welder is a DC current with very small ripple, and there is no zero-crossing effect, so it has an irreplaceable advantage in the case of light alloy, heat-resistant steel, precision parts, high-speed seam welding and high welding quality requirements.
