Every Die-hard Die-cutting Die-cutting Die-cutting Technology (1)

Third, from die cutter to complete die cutting technology

Corrugated cartons play a more and more important role in the packaging of modern products. They are popular for their unique material structure mechanism, unique packaging effects and economic benefits. Corrugated cartons are the packaging industry both at home and abroad. The leader, at the same time, because of the non-pollution of paper packaging, in line with environmental protection requirements, low cost, is also favored by businesses.

Undoubtedly, the prosperity of the commodity economy and the fierce market competition make corrugated cartons an important means of managing and promoting merchandise, and it has been increasingly valued by packaging users and consumers. Corrugated carton forming process as an important part of the production process of corrugated cartons is also a natural concern for manufacturers and must be resolved in advance, such as how to choose the molding method, die cutting blade and die-cut, bottom rubber rebound adhesive What are the technical requirements, how to solve the problems encountered in the wedge cutting process, the following will focus on the analysis of various problems encountered in the molding process of corrugated boxes and its development trend.

Die cutter basic knowledge

The die cutter should meet the following performance requirements: uniform texture, proper combination of blade body and blade hardness, exact specifications, and blade quenched. High-quality die cutters usually have a blade hardness that is significantly higher than the hardness of the blade body, which not only facilitates molding but also provides a long die life.

Die cutter type

Die cutters can be divided into flat die cutters, round die cutters (such as sharp knife, soft knife, etc.) and special effects cutters (such as dotted knife, corrugated knife, etc.) according to different functions.

Die cutter thickness

The thickness specifications of common die cutters and indentation lines are shown in Table 1.

Die cutter height

Professional die cutter manufacturers can provide die cutters of various heights. The most commonly used die cutter blade height is 13.80mm. According to the characteristics of the die-cutting machine and the material to be die-cut, as well as the requirements of die-cutting effect, other commonly used heights are 23.60mm, 30mm, 35mm, 40mm, 50mm, and so on. The thickness of the commonly used die cutter and indentation line is shown in Table 2.
