Troubleshooting for offset printing machine dampening system refrigerator

When using Heidelberg CD 102 offset printing machine, printing had encountered a case of a fault: Offset work, four printing units simultaneously appears on the dirty phenomenon.

Looking at the operation window of Heidelberg CP2000, it was found that the temperature of the fountain solution was higher than the set temperature, the alcohol concentration could not reach the set value, the water tank pump was working normally, the water in each unit was normal, but the refrigerator used for cooling in the water tank did not work. The fault was solved smoothly by taking the following two measures.

1. Clean the refrigerator radiator

Open the electric cabinet and find that the refrigerator is in the trip protection state. After testing, the circuit is normal. This indicates that the chiller is intact, and the trip indicates that the chiller current is too large, causing the chiller to overload. In addition, we found that the surface of the upper radiator of the water tank has more dust and dirt on the surface of the radiator, which hinders the normal cooling of the refrigerator to a certain extent. So we cleaned up the deposits on the surface of the chiller radiator.

2. Cleaning the alcohol dampening system

Turn off the water tank and turn it on again. The water tank refrigerator will only stop working if it is started. The whole mechanism is turned off and then turned back on, and the fault still exists. Checking the dampening cycle system, it was found that a lot of paper wool, dust, ink and waste car wash water were transferred to the dampening solution, which increased the impurities in the dampening solution and blocked the circulating filter, which caused the refrigerator to stop working. After we cleaned the tank and removed the filter, the fault was eliminated.
