We all know that the formed corrugated boxes are generally completed through two processes, horizontal pressure line and vertical pressure line. The transverse pressure line is the pressure line perpendicular to the corrugation direction of the paperboard. It is processed on the computer thin knife slitting/indentation machine of the corrugated board production line; and the longitudinal pressure line is realized in the water-based printing slotting machine. In the past, people did not pay enough attention to the pressure lines of corrugated cardboard. The paperboard transverse pressure line (ie, the carton flap indentation fold line) often shows that the cardboard folding line is not in a straight line, and the formed corners are not good, and when folded at repeated creases, the cardboard The pressure line part is easy to break and other issues. Therefore, the configuration of the pinch roller must be studied to meet the requirements of different corrugated paperboards.

Currently, there are mainly three types of pressure roller used in the production of corrugated cardboard: convex-convex (also called point-to-point), convex-to-flat, and convex-to-concave.

The domestic desktop slitting/indentation machine and the manual slitting line slitting/indentation machine are generally equipped with one type of pressure roller, mostly convex to concave; and domestic computer thin knife slitting/indentation machines and Taiwanese Computer slitting/indentation machines are generally equipped with the above three types of pinch rollers, which can be automatically adjusted according to a pre-type setting or can be manually adjusted manually, which is very convenient. However, in general, the structure is linked, and the movement of the upper and lower pinch rollers uses the same motor to drive the chain and cannot move alone. Manually adjusted preloaded reels are available, and the pressure roller of the foreign computer slitting machine is very advanced in terms of structure and driving mode, and has a very flexible pressure line system. The replacement of the pressure roller is simple and quick, and any type of pressure roller can be installed. The lower pressing roller is positioned independently with respect to the upper pressing roller, and various irregular pressing lines can be automatically selected. Because of these features, foreign machines can use a variety of different wheel press tools. Automatic irregular pressure roller settings, which can be folded cardboard with higher physical indicators. For traditional press lines, the strength of the carton folding is poor, the side pressure strength is low, and the need for high basis weight paper and the emerging pressure line form, the folding strength will be much higher, and the weight of the paper can be reduced. With the ever-increasing requirements for the printing of corrugated cartons, continuous printing with full-printing and folded edges poses a challenge to the press lines. Point-to-point, point-to-flat pressure lines can easily achieve printing requirements.

The most commonly used in cardboard press lines is convex to concave. Because of the different paper quality, production environment factors, and the thickness of the paperboard, the structure of the pressure roller used is also different. The main parameter is that the width of the upper and lower pressure roller should be appropriate, and the step transition arc of the pressure roller should be adjusted according to the depth of the pressure line and the applicable cardboard. In general, the thicker the cardboard, the corresponding larger width of the pressure line, for the three-layer paperboard can also use the arc surface of the pressure line wheel. Therefore, there is no uniform structure for the reel, and the length of the carton is required to find the suitable reel structure according to its actual situation. (see picture 1)
