Born in Colombia, Richard Mishaan started his journey in design by working under the renowned architect Philip Johnson after earning a BA from New York University and studying at Columbia University’s School of Architecture. Mishaan has authored two acclaimed books, *Modern Luxury* and *Artfully Modern*, both published by Monacelli Press. His second book, *Artfully Modern*, was released in November 2014 and has since become a go-to resource for those seeking inspiration in contemporary design.
