Born in Colombia, Richard Mishaan started his journey in design by working under the renowned architect Philip Johnson after earning a BA from New York University and studying at Columbia University’s School of Architecture. This early exposure helped shape his artistic vision and professional approach.
Mishaan has authored two acclaimed books, *Modern Luxury* and *Artfully Modern*, both published by Monacelli Press. The latter was released in November 2014 and showcases his signature style of blending elegance with modern sensibilities.
