Carton box type classification and structural design analysis (2)

Second, the box structure of folding cartons

According to the appearance characteristics of folding cartons, there are tubular, disc type, tube disc type, non-tube non-disc folding cartons and other forms. According to the folding carton structure and closed form, there are standard, cover (buckle cover) type, swing cover type, bag folding type, drawer type, special-shaped box, function box and multi-pack folding carton.

1. Standard folding carton

The standard folding carton has different closed structures for the lid and the bottom of the box, as shown in Fig. 1. The basic forms are:

1 Insert box cover, box bottom structure (A10)
When the lid or the bottom of the box is in the middle position of the two side covers, denoted by A11; when the main cover (or the main box bottom) is in the leftmost position, it is represented by A12; when the main cover (or the main box bottom) is in the rightmost position When using A13 (figure omitted).

2 Lockable box cover and box bottom structure (A20)
When the box cover or the box bottom is an ear-type plug-and-lock structure, denoted by A21; when the box cover or the box bottom is a straight-hook type latch structure, denoted by A22. When the lid or the bottom of the box is a round-hook latch structure, denoted by A23.

3 Wing lid, box bottom structure (A30)
When the box cover or the box bottom is an ordinary box type structure, it is represented by A31; when the box cover or box bottom is a dustproof wing type structure, it is represented by A32.

4 Woven lid and bottom structure (A40)
When the lid or the bottom of the box is an ordinary nested structure, denoted by A41; when the lid or the bottom of the box is a continuous nested structure, denoted by A42.

5 Adhesive lid and box bottom structure (A50)
When the slotted slot is not zero, use A51; when the slotted slot is zero, use A52.

6 Locking box bottom structure (A60)

7 Self-locking bottom box structure (A70)

From the above basic lid, the bottom structure can be combined into a variety of standard folding cartons. Commonly used box types are:

A1111, A1112, A1121, A1122, A1123, A1131, A1132, A1150, A1160, A1170, A1212, A1221, A1222, A1223, A1231, A1232, A1250, A1260, A1270;

A2122, A2123, A2131, A2132, A2150, A2160, A2170, A2231, A2232, A2250, A2260, A2270, A2331, A2332, A2350, A2360, A2370;

A3131, A3132, A3150, A3160, A3170; A3232, A3250, A3260, A3270;

A4141, A4142, A4242;

A5050, A5060, A5070.

2. Cover (Flap Cover) Folding Carton

The cover (clutch) cassette consists of a separate cover and case. Commonly used in clothing, shoes and hats, food (such as chocolate, candy, frozen food, etc.), hardware, toy packaging.

This cartons are available in both fixed and folded versions. The main structure of the folding cover-type box cover and the box body is shown in FIG. 2 , including a single wall box, a double-wall box, a hollow wall box, and a box cover with a flange (bottom).
