U.S. launches wine preservation equipment

U.S. technology engineering company Pek Preservation Systems Inc. launched a pek Wine Steward, a high-end device for the preservation of wine. The device uses a replaceable oxygen cylinder to divert the oxygen from the wine bottle to avoid oxidation and save the wine more effectively. The company claims that the current low-grade wine preservation methods in the market are ineffective. The vacuum pump system produces only 70% vacuum, the valve is prone to leaks, and can only store wine for 12 hours. But Pekwine Steward can save wine for a week. The effect of the previous gas replacement system is also not satisfactory. Because the gas displacement system uses nitrogen, this gas is not completely inert. The ammonia used by Pek Wine Steward is heavier than air and will produce an inert gas layer on the wine surface after use.
