New Type Die Casting Machine Developed in Japan

A Japanese venture company --- Sanji has successfully developed a new hot chamber die casting machine, which has improved the efficiency of aluminum metal processing. The die casting machine is divided into two types: hot chamber type and cold chamber type. Since the exit portion of the hot chamber die casting machine is in the melted high temperature aluminum solution, it can be continuously die-casted, and the production efficiency is higher than that of the cold chamber die casting machine. However, the high temperature aluminum solution tends to melt other metals. Therefore, the hot chamber die casting machine has hitherto been suitable only for the die casting of a few metals such as aluminum and zinc. The use of silicon nitride ceramic cylinders and pistons by Mitsubishi Electric has solved this technical problem. This new product was evaluated by the Japan Die-Casting Association as "although there is a long-term and durability problem, but a fairly complete machine." Japanese media believes that the successful development of new die casting machines has enhanced the international competitiveness of Japanese products, especially for the competitiveness of Chinese products.
