Japan launches packaging to prevent water vapor from soaking food

Recently, a fast-cooked food package that avoids water vapor from soaking food when heated has been marketed in Japan. The packaging material is composed of multi-layer materials such as polypropylene film, polyethylene film, paper and aluminum foil. When heated, water vapor will condense on the surface of the film and then be absorbed by the paper, so as to avoid the purpose of soaking the food with water vapor.
