The demand for carbon fiber in the aerospace category is also fast. In 2010, the demand for carbon fiber reached 250t/a, which is 4.2 times that of 2003. From 2003 to 2010, the total carbon fiber demand in China has continued to increase.
Li Kejian thinks that the domestic new material industry is still relatively thin and the potential business opportunities in China are huge, but the actual business opportunities are still lacking. In May 2012, the State Council passed the “Twelfth Five-Year National Strategic Development Plan for New Industries†and the new materials industry was included.
