The retina, as a nerve tissue, is susceptible to damage in an ischemic and hypoxic environment, while the central retinal artery is the terminal artery, which is prone to ischemic events and can quickly cause severe damage to the retina. The ischemic injury of the retina is a pathophysiological process that is inevitable in the development of many eye diseases such as glaucoma and central occlusion of the omentum. The study of the mechanism of injury has always been a hot topic in the medical field, especially in the ophthalmology community. . Therefore, studying the mechanism of retinal ischemic injury and the protective role of related drugs has very important guiding significance for clinical work.

An ideal experimental model and experimental instrument for retinal ischemia is undoubtedly the key to the research in this field.

At present, the more common retinal ischemia models are: elevated intraocular pressure model, vascular ligation model and post-balloon injection of vasoconstrictor. The method of raising the intraocular pressure has become a method widely used at home and abroad because of its simple method and strong model. This method is to make a high intraocular pressure model by injecting the anterior chamber of the eye of the animal to make the fundus. Vascular disruption, causing retinal ischemia. At present, in the preparation of a model of ischemic retinal injury in China, a retinal ischemia model is usually made by a self-made pressing device, and a more pneumatic type is used (in a sealed container filled with physiological saline). Inflatable), this device needs to manually squeeze the rubber ball to inflate and pressurize the container. The pressure control is adjusted by the artificial blood pressure meter, which is not only complicated, but also difficult to accurately control the pressure on the set value. There are defects such as uneven experimental results, time-consuming and laborious. At present, there is no special automatic pressurizing device in China. In view of the above situation, we designed an animal retina pressure gauge with the concept of modular design, using compressed air as the pressure source and gas-liquid isolator as the pressure actuator. The pressure is detected by the pressure sensor, and the pressure and the pressing time are controlled by the controller, so that the performance is stable and reliable, and the structural design and manufacture of the device can be simplified. Compared with other existing self-made devices, the pressure control accuracy is high (pressure range 0-150mmHg ± 2mmHg), the difference in preparation of ischemic retinal damage is small, the repeatability is good, and the experimental effect is reliable. Pressure control and time control are automated, freeing the experimenter from mechanical and repetitive operations, saving time and effort. At the same time, multiple models can be made, which greatly improves work efficiency. Moreover, it has a simple structure, is easy to manufacture, is simple to operate, is convenient to use, safe to use, and low in cost.
