(2) Leakage test: The seepage test pressure is shown in Table 6-12-12.
(3) Hydraulic test: Hydraulic test pressure is calculated in one of the following three ways:
1 At a temperature of 55°C, the total gauge pressure in the package (ie, the vapour pressure of the contained material plus the partial pressure of air or inert gas minus 100 kPa) is multiplied by a safety factor of 1.5;
2 When the goods are to be shipped at 50°C, the vapor pressure is 1.75 times less than 100kpa; for the goods to be shipped at 55°C, the vapor pressure is 1.5 times, minus 100kpa.
When the vapour pressure of the cargo to be transported cannot be ascertained, the hydraulic pressure provided in Table 6-12-13 can be tested.
Plastic and plastic composite packaging, including their closures, must withstand the specified constant pressure for 30 minutes. Other containers, including their closures, must withstand the specified constant pressure for 5 minutes.
(4) Stacking test: The minimum height of stacking should include 3m for the sample and the duration is 24h. Plastic buckets (tanks) and plastic composite barrels (tanks) are stacked in an environment with a temperature of not less than 40°C for 28 days.
Stacking load is calculated as follows:
The marking and test methods for the packaging of intermediate bulk containers are carried out in accordance with the requirements in Chapter 16, "Recommendations for Medium-sized Bulk Cargo Containers (IBCs)," of the Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods. Among them, flexible bulk bag inspection is conducted according to ZBA82003-88 “Regulations for the Inspection of the Performance of Containers for Dangerous Goods at Seaborne Exportsâ€, and six trials of lifting, tearing, stacking, dropping, slumping, and orthostatic lifting at the top are carried out.
For example: Packing marks for flexible bulk bags used to hold certain types of dangerous goods:

The inspection of small gas containers shall be carried out in accordance with SN0324-94 "Test Procedures for the Packaging of Small Gas Containers for Shipping Dangerous Goods by Sea". The inspection of calcium carbide steel drums shall be carried out in accordance with SN0182.2-93 "Procedures for the Inspection of the Performance of Shipping Shipping Casks for Packaging Steel Drums".
