PTA-Polyester Integration Technology Developed Successfully

Eastman Chemical Co., the world's largest manufacturer of PET bottles, recently announced the breakthrough IntegRex technology for the production of PET bottles. The company plans to use this technology to build an integrated polyester wafer production technology with an annual output of 350,000 tons in Colombia, South Carolina.

Eastman's PTA production facility here will use IntegRex to transform and provide intermediate materials for the expansion. The company expects the technology can obtain more than 100 patents, this breakthrough process will achieve the integration of production from PX to PET bottles.
