While Church & Dwight continues to distribute its traditional Arm & Hammer baking soda carton, it decided to introduce a 12-pound zipper bag to meet the market demand for convenient re-sealed packaging in the clubhouse and food service industries. This new bag is made of durable polyethylene film with a disposable Powder-ProofTM zipper. The zipper has a vent on the track to facilitate powdered debris to fall back into the bag to avoid zipper blocking. Zip-Pak Corporation collaborates with Robert Packaging to adapt its C-1500 vertical molding/filling/sealing machine to Arm & Hammer, using rotary gravure composite polyethylene film to produce large-format, resealable packaging bag.
