From June 7, Fuji Xerox began selling its high-speed, high-resolution, full-color on-demand printing system, the Xerox iGen 3 110 production digital press.
This device is an upgraded version of the Xerox iGen3 production digital printing system introduced in June 2004. The Xerox iGen3 production digital printing system was developed by Fuji Xerox to cater for digital printing and information processing. Its print speed is 100 sheets (A4)/minute. Since its launch, Xerox iGen3 has won praise for its print quality that rivals offset printing. Its superior production capacity and comprehensive support for users also make it accepted by the market.
In order to meet the market's higher demand for digital on-demand printing, Fuji Xerox introduced the Xerox iGen3 110 production digital press with a print speed of up to 100 sheets (A4)/minute. This series of products currently has two models, DocuSP base and DocuSP PPR. The DocuSP base model uses two 1.2GHz UltraSPARCTM IV processors and the DocuSP PPR model uses eight UltraSPARCTM III processor modules. The DocuSP base model includes a tax-inclusive price of 85 million yen, while the DocuSP PPR model includes a tax-inclusive price of 88 million yen.
