New ceramic packaging materials

Dylon Industries of the United States has developed a new type of electrically insulating ceramic cement, Grade H115, which is a ceramic encapsulation compound for electronic applications. This new material is being used for the encapsulation and coating of resistors, thermoelectric crucibles and transformers, capacitor-sealed cement insulators and igniters, and metal glass and other ceramic products. This material prevents the component from loosening due to vibration. Moreover, this new type of ceramic material also has a good thermal shock resistance and can be rapidly heated or cooled under a wide range of temperature fluctuations.
