Post-press technology: Solve the problem of the placement of tiled paper

The color-printed paper box's placement can lead to issues like flowers sticking to the surface, dirt accumulation, die-cutting problems, and is one of the most challenging aspects in the paper mounting process. In this "Packaging Zone" micro-edit, we'll share a comprehensive set of solutions to address these common challenges effectively. First, when using thin and curled color-printed facial paper, it's important not to run the machine at too high a speed. When loading tissue paper and corrugated board, ensure that their relative positions are properly aligned to prevent misalignment during output, which could result in inaccurate lateral lamination. If the stroke of the upper and lower chains isn't adjusted correctly, there may be front-to-back positioning errors. Also, if the paper stopper on the stacking table doesn’t align with the edge of the paper, it can cause lateral movement, and if the curled cardboard isn't neatly arranged, it might contribute to placement inaccuracies. Second, improper adjustment or maintenance of the paper feeding and positioning system can also lead to mounting errors. For example, if the paper feeding chain is loose, the coordination between the upper and lower chains becomes unstable. Loose front regulations on the chains can cause the paper edges to be impacted during feeding. Additionally, if the contact point of the paper pressing steel strip with the facial paper is uncomfortable or the gap is too large, it won’t effectively reduce the inertial impact of the cardboard at high speeds. Moreover, if the upper and lower rollers aren’t cleaned regularly, glue buildup can interfere with the smooth transportation of the facial paper or corrugated board. Third, the gap between the upper and lower rollers can directly affect the accuracy of paperboard mounting. If the gap is incorrect, the corrugated cardboard may shift as it passes through the rollers, causing misalignment between the facial paper and the corrugated layer. If the sheet isn’t conveyed properly—such as when there are empty sheets or skewed feeds—it can lead to blistering, degumming (due to uneven pressure from differing lengths of inter-coupling between cardboards), and ultimately, poor mounting quality. By addressing these factors through regular maintenance, proper alignment, and careful adjustment of machine settings, you can significantly improve the accuracy and quality of the paper mounting process.
