I. General rules

Climb the wall

1.1 All international competition climbing committee (ICC) approved competitions must be held on an artificial climbing wall designed for climbing competitions. The vertical height is at least 12 meters and the width is at least 3 meters, and it is sufficient to design a route at least 15 meters in length.
1.2 All surfaces of the climbing wall can be used as climbing.
1.3 The climbing shall not use the side or upper edge of the board.
1.4 If the climbing route must be delimited on the surface of the board so as to be separated from other routes, continuous and clearly identifiable markings shall be used on this sideline.
1.5 The starting line of the climbing route must be clearly marked.

2. Kind of competition

2.1. Definition
a) Difficulty Race: The player takes the lead and ascends from below. Each quick-release buckles according to regulations in advance. The player determines the position of the field by the height reached (the maximum distance along the axis of the crossing or ceiling, along the route);
b) Difficulty-Duel: The technical rules for this type of competition are the same as those for general difficulty. But the finals were the same single-elimination method as the finals of the sprint.
c) Speed ​​match: the player is ensured from above, and the finish time of the climber determines the ranking of the field;
d) Bouldering: The competition consists of a series of individual technical climbing problems. Each question has to be based on security considerations to ensure that (top or bottom) or the total number of points obtained by climbing the player in an unsecured manner determines the ranking of the field.
2.2 Difficulty and difficulty of elimination can be climbed in the following ways:
a) on-sight climbing: start climbing after the approved viewing route;
b) Start the climb after the approved front climbing demonstration;
c) After the approved exercise begins.
2.3. The sprint race starts after the approved former climbing demonstration climb.
2.4. International competitions include four items including difficulty, difficulty elimination, speed and bouldering, but not all international competitions must include each item.


3. Security

3.1 For the safety regulations for all climbing competitions, please refer to Chapter 2, Section 5.


4. Registration and quarantine

4.1 All players eligible to participate in the competition must report and enter the quarantine area within the time specified by the referee or printed or announced by the general meeting. Team managers and players have the responsibility to fully understand the details of the rules of each game. Failure to observe the required details (or any procedural changes that have been made) should not be considered as justification for non-compliance.
4.2 Only personnel designated below are allowed to enter the quarantine area:
a) ICC staff;
b) Organize member alliance staff;
c) Players with qualifications for the field;
d) approved team clerk;
e) Other persons specially approved by the referee. The person must stay in the quarantine area under the supervision and guidance of an approved staff member to maintain the safety of the quarantine area and to avoid undue interference with the player;
f) Animals must not enter the quarantine area.
