Japan takes the lead in developing the world of sexy paper

Japan’s Ricoh Co., which has the largest domestic market share in Japan’s diazo photographic papers, recently took the lead in the world to successfully develop neutral diazonium sensitizers that can be recycled.
The diazo photosensitive paper is a type of coated paper coated with a sensitizer and a color former, and the former can be decomposed under light irradiation. Both of these agents react under alkaline conditions, so in order to maintain the quality of the paper, acid paper was used in the past, but used acid paper can only be processed into newsprint and high-quality toilet paper.
Neutral paper completely overcomes this defect. Its biggest feature is that it can be recycled with copy paper and other neutral papers for a week, reprocessed into copy paper, and realizes multiple recycling of paper. The test results show that this neutral paper is comparable to the acid paper used in the past.
