Digital printing basic binding method

Comb binding: A plastic insert wraps into a square hole in the paper. The insert can be removed for page reduction, page addition, and flattening on each page. Comb-type binding is fast and inexpensive, and is suitable for finalizing draft materials. Usually, the data is no thicker than two inches. Spiral binding: use fine plastic or metal spiral, beautiful and light. The page can be opened and flattened, but it cannot be removed. This binding method is commonly used in textbooks or manuals, and the data thickness is not more than one inch. Circular Binding: Stiffer than spiral binding, but increase the data weight, the page can be flattened. If you need to ensure that pages are not lost during transport or during regular handling, this method is usually used. The data is about one inch thick. Plywood binding: Bonds the plastic nails to 1/8-inch thick hard plastic sheets by heating to form a plywood binding. Pages cannot be flattened, leaving one inch wide staple space on the page. The data can be up to two inches and the binding time may take two days. Spine binding: The use of fabric or paper wrapped around the spine and gluing, fast, beautiful and durable, is a relatively cheap book binding method. Suitable for many occasions. Pages cannot be flattened, with up to 120 pages and a minimum of 15 pages. Three-hole staple binding: The three-hole nailing method is an ideal binding method for digital prints, and is suitable for applications such as operation manuals that require frequent updates or addition of new data. Separation sheets, inserts can also use digital printing, due to this binding to be carried out manually, so a lot of information may take some time. Saddle Stitches: Two or more saddle stitches are hidden in the book and pinned to the folds of the book. The pages must be made into a folded hand to ensure that the sequence is correct. For machines that can automatically print on both sides, four-page folding can greatly reduce the printing time. Saddle stitching is simple, cheap and professional. Widely used in brochures, news materials, etc.
