Novacel of France, which develops, manufactures and markets adhesive films for the protection of industrial products, recently introduced the PVTEC (polyvinylidene fluoride) coated metal surface protective film Novacel 9371.
Novacel 9371 film is colorless and transparent with a thickness of 35 μm. Using polyolefin-based resin as raw material, it has better mechanical properties than old products (based on LDPE-based resin and a film thickness of 50 μm), and can be printed on the film with information content such as logos, trademarks, and advertisements.
Novacel has previously developed metal and profiled materials for Novacel 9373, a surface protective film with a thickness of 50 μm. It is also based on polyethylene and has the advantages of low cost and high mechanical properties.
