The 13th National Rock Climbing Championship will be held from July 6th to July 7th in Yanyan Scenic Area, Huaiji County, Guangdong Province. This is another large-scale climbing competition held by Huaiji after hosting the International Climbing Invitational last year.
This event is sponsored by the China Mountaineering Association and will include nearly 200 players from more than 30 teams from all provinces, cities, autonomous regions and related clubs. According to reports, there will be two major items, speed and difficulty for men and women.
Yanyan Scenic Area is a typical karst landscape. It was awarded the title of “Chinese National Rock Climbing Training Base†by the China Mountaineering Association last year and has 4 tracks that meet international standards.
In the same month, Huaiji will also hold the first drifting contest in Guangdong Province.
