Folding process and folding machine operation specification (below)

(1) Adjusting the height of the knife

Loosen the star lock nut on the sliding body of the knife body, and adjust the screw to change the protruding height of the knife. When the folding knife moves to the lowest point and just feeds the paper into the folding roller, tighten the nut.

(2) Adjustment of folding knife and folding roller centering

Gently rotate the safety handwheel and adjust the platen so that the folding roller gap and the folded paper thickness are the same. With the folding knife at the lowest position, loosen the fixing screws on the clamping plate, and then loosen the fastening screws of the two guide plate sliders. The folding knife will automatically align with the folding roller, and then tighten the screws.

(3) Adjusting the parallelism of folding knife and folding roller

Put the two steel balls on the opposite folding rollers at both ends of the folding knife. Manually turn the machine so that the edge of the folding knife just touches a steel ball. Loosen the screws and adjust the two adjustment screws on the handle of the folding knife so that the cutting edge Parallel to the folding rollers, then tighten the screws.

(4) Adjustment of front baffle and side baffle

According to the craft requirement, often need to adjust the vertical fold rule.

The position of the first vertical folding front stop is determined by the center of the third folding page of the folded paper. Refer to the reading on the scale and pass the worm gear mechanism to move the front stop. Then move the machine to transport the paper to the front gauge. Move the side stopper on the gauge, tighten the relevant screws against the edge of the paper, and at the same time, adjust the spring on the opposite side of the side gauge, and then place the retainer ball seat on the back edge of the paper so that the edge of the paper is in the center of the steel ball to prevent the paper from bouncing. If the front edge of the folded paper is not coincident, loosen the locking screw to move the folding front bar forward and backward, correct the angle, and then tighten the screws again after adjustment.

5, common mixed fold

(1) 16-page parallel folds and vertical folds (folio folded into 8 open)

Parallel fold: The second group of folding rollers is two sheets of paper thickness, and the third group of folding rollers is adjusted to four sheets of paper thickness; the first group of fences is set to the paper length of 1/2 length; the second group of fences stops the paper. Regulation to the paper 1/4 length; other fence assembly paper steering board, closed.

Vertical Fold: Vertical Folding Roller and Slitting Axis Adjust to 8 Sheet Thickness The front rule adjusts to 1/4 of the length of the paper.

(2) 4-page parallel folds and double vertical folds (folio folded into 16 open)

Four-page folding is described above. The first vertical folding-folding roller and slitting roller are adjusted to four sheets of paper thickness, and the vertical-folding front stopper is adjusted to 1/2 of the paper length; the second vertical folding-folding roller and slitting are performed. The axis is adjusted to 8 sheets thick, and the front stop is adjusted to 1/4 of the length of the paper.

(3) 4-page parallel folds and 3 vertical folds (folio folded into 32 open)

The third vertical fold roller is adjusted to 16 sheets, and the paper front rule is adjusted to 1/8 of the length of the paper.

(4) 32 double fold

Normally, a vertical fold is added between two parallel folds. The mechanical knife folding machine is completed by replacing the paper delivery cart with a small fence folding set.

6. Use and adjustment of the delivery machine

The speed of the delivery belt at the delivery table is changed by the regulator knob, right-handed acceleration, left-handed deceleration.

The elasticity of the feeder belt can be adjusted by screws, and the size of the press roller can be adjusted by knurled screws.

The lifting and lowering of the delivery table is achieved by the use of external forces and gas springs.
