Multiple cigarette pack paper deformation die cutting solution

In the process of multi-binder printing, due to the influence of objective factors, the printed paper has been deformed to varying degrees. In the die-cutting of these paper-deformed prints, there is often a problem that the die-cutting position is incorrect after the machine is turned on and the die-cut version is remade. This brings great difficulties to the post-processing die-cutting molding, greatly reducing the product qualification rate. The adjustable movable diecut (see Figure 1) has greatly improved this situation.

The adjustable movable die-cut version is based on the deformation law of the multi-linked cigarette pack products, plus the double knife die cutting position in the appropriate position of the deformation direction of the print product to form a front-back or left-right separation unit; installed between the double-tool die cut positions. Regulator, when die-cutting, adjust according to the direction of print deformation.

In order to let everyone have a better understanding of the adjustable activity diecut (hereinafter referred to as the active version), the following will be compared with the wooden die-cut version to illustrate.

1. Costs and Benefits of the Active Edition and the Common Wood Die Cuts Platemaking Costs:
The cost of making a normal wooden die-cut version is 6,750 yuan, and for an indentation line, it costs 480 yuan.
The cost of making an event version is 80,000 yuan.
Revision situation:
Due to paper deformation, a print may need to produce 2 to 3 ordinary wood die cuts.
The active version can be adjusted according to the deformation of the paper without remaking.

2. Installation and calibration time and service life Installation and calibration time: The time for loading and unloading the common wooden die-cutting plate is 4 hours. It takes 1.5 hours to change the indentation line.
The active version uses a one-piece steel bottom mold, and the loading time is 2.5 hours without changing lines.
Service life:
Commonly used wooden die-cutting plates can be changed for 3 times die-cutting cutters and imprinted 1.5 million times; the indentation line is changed once when pressing 150,000 times.
The active version can be changed from 20 to 25 die cutters, imprinted 15 million to 20 million times; the indentation line is used permanently.

3. Molding effect and intangible benefit Molding effect:
The indentation of commonly used wooden die-cutting plates is inconsistent with the severity, indentation deviation and bursting phenomenon, and the forming effect is not stable.
The active version of the indentation line is full, the crease standard, and the occurrence of indentation misalignment and bursting can be adjusted, and the molding effect is good.
Intangible benefits:
Commonly used wooden die-cutting plate in the product quality, often appear indentation offset problem, the finished product pass rate is low.
The active version can be adjusted according to the deformation of the paper, and there will be no indentation deviation. The qualified rate of the finished product is high.

4. Actual Costs The actual cost is calculated as shown in Table 1 for two types of simultaneous die cutting of 15 million sheets.

5. The financial budget and cost reduction data are calculated according to 15 million die-cuts per active ticket (24-unit) per block, saving the plate-making cost 64,340 yuan, saving the revision, line change, and tool-changing time by 220 hours compared to the commonly used wooden die-cut version. , greatly increase production efficiency. According to the company’s existing product orders, the white card “Lanzhou” is calculated at 15 million pieces per year, the “ocean” is 15 million pieces per year, and the fine and ordinary “seabirds” are 15 million pieces per year. 4 adjustable movable die-cutting plates, annual savings of about 260,000 yuan in plate-making costs, saving production time of 880 hours. Calculated at an hourly profit of 500 yuan per machine, the time saved can earn a profit of 440,000 yuan for the company, and the two items total about 700,000 yuan. After comprehensive promotion and application, the benefits saved are very optimistic.

6. Operation method According to the paper deformation of the printed paper, adjust the adjustment position of the hex screw of the adjuster. The positive direction is to increase the double-knife distance. The reverse direction is to reduce the double-knife distance. The maximum adjustable distance is 3mm.
