3. Simulation Proofing The process of analog proofing is most similar to the printing process. The digital version mainly refers to the direct plate making method that does not use the film.
Direct platemaking equipment includes two types:
(1) The internal roll CTP apparatus - plate is stationary during the imaging process, and the light beam moves under the action of the drive shaft.
(2) Outer roller CTP equipment: The plate rotates during the imaging process, while the light beam remains stationary.

The plate type is photosensitive or heat-sensitive. The general exposure light source is visible light (488nm-532nm) or ultraviolet light (833nm-1064nm), and the imaging size is from 11*17inch to 60*80inch.
